Well, I guess it's been a while since my last post, but in the meantime, I have managed to get some spring decor up around here. I found these adorable nests (above pic) on clearance last fall, and placed them in vintage molds here and there. The jelly beans make a tasty addition.
I had fun making some easter eggs a few weeks ago, too.
They are similar to the pumpkin that I did in the fall, except I wrapped these in pink baker's twine and added some cute butterflie "stickers" that I found in my local dollar store. The "Spring is here" bunny is from the Dollar Tree, although I'm pretty sure it would be fairly easy to reproduce.
I added this tray to my coffee table. The eggs are decoupaged with sheet music and "diamond dusted" for a little bit of shimmer.
I'm usually not much of an artist, but I managed this chalk outline of a bunny. This little vignette sits on the dresser in my kitchen.
And that's about a it for easter/spring decor around here. Although, I am sitting here typing and noticed that I still have snowflake votive holders out on the piano. Maybe that's why it snowed the other night!
I finished a chair up the other day, and hopefully will share that tomorrow, or the next day.
