This is how it started out... rather gross (you can't see all the dirt in this picture...) and kinda ugly.
Being rather dirty, it got a good bath with Shaklee's Germicide.
Can you believe the paint job on the back of this chair? I mean, come on... did they think no one would ever see the back of their chair?
Not being a chair that I really loved, I didn't want to spend too much time fixing it up. I dry brushed some turquoise paint over it. Then gave the whole thing a good sanding. Still thinking it was a little blah, I decided to stencil a little 3 at the top. I think it was the added touch it was needing.
Before stenciling... actually... I had already started... so MOSTLY before stenciling. |
The nice days are going to be drawing to a close soon, which means I won't be able to work on as many projects outside. I've still got a few things that I am going to be pushing to get done before the weather get cold. I'm hoping for a warm fall!

I love that you could see something in this chair! Most times, people just don't see it and they throw perfectly good things away. Love what you did with it! xo

The three was really just random, I had no particular reason for it... there isn't any more in a series, or anything like that. Actually, 3 isn't even my favorite number.
